Our experienced Careers Team understands that our students are at various stages of their career journeys—some are just starting out, others are developing their careers, while some are making a career change.
Our team applies the Career Stage approach to customize our live sessions and digital career resources, ensuring they are relevant to all students. Students can participate in live career webinars, often co-hosted by a member of our team and one of our students, as well as group career coaching sessions led by experienced Careers Consultants. Our central careers program also features a variety of employer-led events and provides opportunities to connect with our global alumni network.
Students in your academic program also have access to a wide variety of online career support, including digital platforms and AI tools to enhance CV and interview skills, an international job vacancy platform, and career-focused micromodules. The Lumina Open University Careers Service is increasingly collaborating with academic staff to provide tailored career sessions or digital resources for specific cohorts, often focusing on essential employability skills. Additionally, we offer guidance on integrating more career and employability content into academic modules, including based on the Careers Registration data collected by each program.
For more information on how we can collaborate with you and your academic colleagues, please visit the Careers Section of the Portal.
