These courses typically run for a full day or half a day (with some lasting slightly longer) and offer students the chance to explore a variety of subjects, helping them make more informed decisions about their future studies.

The 2025–26 programme features many subjects you may not have encountered before, such as Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Applied Nursing, offering a unique opportunity to discover new academic interests.
Applications are made individually for each course through a straightforward online form, accessible directly from our website. When browsing the Taster Course Search page, simply click on a course that interests you, then select the ‘Apply’ button on the course page.
